What's your arm candy?

Hello Everyone!

Stackable jewelleries are all the rage now!  Bracelets and necklaces are often fun to stack and make any outfit stand out!  But here's the question:  How should they be stacked so that they don't give off the "OMG, why-does-this-look-so-cluttered!" look?  Well, no worries.  Here comes another one of our "Let's Learn" session!

Here are some tip on stacking bracelets.  Of course, there is no definitively right or wrong way of doing it, but following some basic guidelines will steer you in the right direction so you don't look like a disorganized walking jewellery display!

Ready? Set? Let's Learn!

Tips for stacking bracelets:
  1. Experimentation is key!  Try out different combinations and see which one(s) you like best.  Perhaps you can start with five bracelets of different metals, styles and colours, then you add and subtract to get the best combo!
  2. Try mixing high-end and low-end accessories together!  It is so much fun.  Trust us!  CC always wear her jelly bear bracelet (those colourful gummy bear beads strung on an elastic) with her T-blue bracelets.  Playful and preppy at the same time!
  3. Some boys and girls love wearing multiple friendship bracelets!  When they are stacked, it's like strips of rainbow candies on your wrist!  They are youthful and definitely brighten your day!  Give it a try!
  4. Colours: If you are going to wear multiple bracelets with colour, ensure that there is contrast in the colour combination.  Some combos that CC loves are silver + teal, black + red, black + purple and purple + gray.  If you are going for a major contrast, black + white or black + any colour are no fail.  They will get you plenty of attention!
  5. When stacking bracelets, make sure that the bracelets are the main focus.  For example, don't stack these five-charm bracelets togther!!  The trend is stacking bracelets, not stacking jingles that create confusion when you try to figure out which bracelet the pink heart is on.  One small charm on each bracelet and stacking five at once is cool; 15 charms on each bracelet and stacking even two together will give off a messy-look, as though you never put any thought into coordination!
  6. Lastly, make sure you do not stack chunky bracelets on your dominant wrist.  It may be too heavy for you to write effective and too much distraction with all the colours and/or too much noise that drive you up the wall (you don't want to sound like cowbells).
